Let’s get you back in tune.
Help with your account, listening practice and payments.
Contact Tonic
This inbox is monitored by LearnTonic for account help, billing, privacy requests and complaints. We reply by email; please check your spam folder too.
support@learntonic.appWhen contacting support, include the email you use for Tonic, your device/browser, what went wrong and a receipt reference for billing questions. Never send passwords, sign-in codes or full card details.
I paid, but Plus is locked
Sign in using the same Tonic account as your purchase, then open Account → Refresh subscription status. A different account does not inherit your subscription. If checkout says the payment is processing, wait and refresh; do not pay a second time.
How do I cancel?
Open subscription management and follow the billing-portal link. Confirm that renewal is cancelled and save the provider’s confirmation. For web purchases you can also use the portal link in your receipt. Purchases made through an app store must be managed with that store.
Deleting Tonic, uninstalling an app or signing out does not cancel billing.
Refunds and disputed charges
Contact Tonic support for current web purchases with your receipt reference. Cancellation and refunds are different actions. Applicable consumer rights are preserved. See the cancellation and refunds section of our terms for withdrawal information and sample cancellation wording. For an Android purchase, use Google Play’s refund process.
Learning with a child
An adult parent or legal guardian owns the account, supervises learning and handles any purchase. Use the adult’s email and account details; do not enter a child’s real name, school or other identifying information. This release has one shared learning history per account, not separate family profiles. Contact us to review or remove a child’s information or report an account a child opened themselves.
I can’t sign in
Use “Forgot password?” in the Account window for an email account. For Google sign-in, choose the original Google account and allow its sign-in pop-up. Check the verification email for a newly created email account. Use the same Google or email account on every device.
I can’t hear a note
Tap the play control, check Tonic’s sound setting and your device volume, and check which headphones or Bluetooth speaker is connected. If a call or another app interrupted playback, return to the session and tap play again. Your unfinished session is saved.
What happens when I delete?
Your Tonic learning history, preferences, XP and rewards are removed and your Firebase sign-in account is deleted. Your Google account and any separate legacy learning profile are not removed. A minimal deletion marker and provider-held financial records may remain as explained in the privacy notice.
Cancel renewal first if you want charges to stop. If deletion reports that learning data was removed but account removal could not be confirmed, retry. If you can no longer sign in, the account may already have been deleted; keep your receipt for any remaining billing enquiry.
Sound and melody credits
Piano and acoustic-guitar samples are from N. P. Brosowsky’s tonejs-instruments, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported. The upstream source credits Versilian Studios VSCO 2 Community Edition and the University of Iowa Musical Instrument Samples. LearnTonic uses an unmodified subset of the MP3 files; playback transposes notes and applies volume and release envelopes. No endorsement is implied. See the full instrument credits.
Familiar melodies have source and transcription credits in the Melody Library under “Memory cue, sections & sources”. They play using instrument samples and synthesis; we do not include commercial song recordings. Other teaching phrases and rhythm exercises are original LearnTonic exercises.
